Rainy Day Beat Chop

So the homie Ammbush lightweight called me out the other day on my visit to the SWTBRDS broadcast about my lack of posts on the FFF blog. He's right, I don't post enough over here. So I'm gonna try and change that in the coming weeks, and I'm gonna start with a little beat chop I did recently at the crib. I gave this a try at the SWTBRDS broadcast but I have a feeling it didn't exactly come out the way I planned it, so I wanted to set it straight. This is what it was supposed to sound like! Big ups to the homie Ammbush, Al Jieh, DaVINCI, and 24KMilkcrate.com.

The world was startled today, when a 7.0 magnitude earthquake shook Haiti, and was felt in The Dominican Republic as well. They are estimating hundreds dead, and millions of people effected. Haiti is already the poorest country in the western hemisphere. Please help Haiti if you can by visiting The Red Cross or Wyclef's Yéle Haiti. You can help by donating as little as five dollars, or by texting yele to 501501 or "haiti" to 90999

So Cal?

I talk shit about Southern Cali because I lived there for 6 years and have a right to, but I also have a deep appreciation for its rich musical history. Now this joint might not be rich, but I learned to love modern soul music and dance my off to songs like this during my junior high days. I had this 12 inch a while back but lost it and am looking for another copy because the remix is dope too.

Holler if you got a copy and wanna trade.

This was on the 'South Central' soundtrack by the way, a very slept on movie that you should check out if you haven't already. As far as I know these guys never went anywhere - if anyone knows where the members strayed off to I would be very interested to know.
